Not that I’m a big fan of Susan Rice but this is the best Sen. Collins could come up with?

… a guy who will step in and force bankers to go back to being boring, risk-averse drips who lend businesses money to buy new equipment or fleets of trucks or whatever. What we have instead are coked-up wannabe big shots straight out of Boiler Room who are washing Mexican drug money and laundering Middle Eastern cash and playing around with wild price-fixing schemes – pretty much everything you can think of that isn’t quietly counting beans and helping grow the economy.
I’ve never thought highly of Antonin Scalia. In principle, I could despise his opinions but still respect him. I don’t. Whenever I’ve heard him talk he’s come across as a not-too-bright bully. I’ve never understood how he came to be viewed as an intellectual – at least in some quarters. Anyhow, Charlie Pierce lays into him.
